In 2025, members of BRMQG created a vibrant collection of quilts inspired by beloved children's books that feature a quilt or quilting. Each quilt was stitched with imagination and care; they are more than just fabric and thread, they are stories made tangible, designed to spark joy, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
These quilts, and their accompanying books, were donated to Louisiana CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of children navigating domestic trouble and/or the foster care system. The quilts were donated with the hope to offer a small but meaningful gesture of support to each child and to remind them that their story matters.
